01 - Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar completely dissolves. Remove from heat and stir in dried lavender. Let steep for 15 minutes to infuse the floral flavor.
02 - Pour the syrup through a fine-mesh sieve to remove all lavender buds. Allow the strained syrup to cool completely to room temperature before combining with lemon juice.
03 - In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice, cooled lavender syrup, and cold water. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
04 - Taste the lemonade and adjust the flavor balance as desired. Add more water for a lighter drink, more syrup for increased sweetness, or additional lemon juice for extra tartness.
05 - Fill the pitcher with ice cubes. Serve over individual glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with fresh lemon slices and lavender sprigs if desired.
