01 - Combine rolled oats, milk, cinnamon, and salt in a medium saucepan. Place over medium heat and bring to a gentle boil while stirring occasionally.
02 - Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally until oats are creamy and have absorbed most of the liquid.
03 - Stir in maple syrup or honey and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
04 - Divide the creamy cooked oats evenly between two serving bowls.
05 - Top each bowl with fresh berries, banana slices, chopped nuts, shredded coconut, and seeds as desired.
06 - Serve immediately. Drizzle with additional honey or maple syrup if preferred.
